- They are being Hand raised around kids, cats, and other dogs. \
- They will come with first shots and a clean bill of health from the vet. \
- We are gently introducing them to crates as part of our training.\
- This is a family litter- NOT a puppy farm!! Come visit us on our home to verify!
Our family has been having a blast raising these precious babies. We are not dog breeders, but live on a hobby farm and have a great deal of ethical breeding experience. We decided to have this litter because of the superior temperament of our Golden Retriever Gussie. You have to meet her to understand! We wanted one of her puppies 🥰
*Therapy Temperament Explanation: These pups are top tier for health and temperament. Their mother is our beloved purebred Golden Retriever, Gussie. She is one of two family dogs we own, and is a member of our family. (Visit us and see- we are not a puppy farm!)
Gussie is literally the perfect gentle Golden Retriever. She is calm and heavenly. She is absolutely connected to her humans, and looks deeply in your eyes as she snuggles you. She possesses that special “sixth sense” Goldens can have- moving in when she senses you are stressed, and applying warm loving pressure. Once she even rescued our 4 year old daughter from danger 🥹!! Bear, the father, is a 5 pound purebred toy poodle. He was also carefully selected for his temperament. This little poodle is CALM. He rarely barks, and doesn’t have the yappy gene I’ve literally never met such a calm small dog.
So as you can see.. with these two dogs as the parents, these puppies will have gentle, trainable, connected, therapeutic grade temperaments. Add in the perfect health test scores from both parents- and you have an amazing dog. ANY one of these pups will be wonderful candidates for support or therapy dogs.
*WHY YOU SHOULD CONSIDER BUYING A FIRST GENERATION DOODLE: Don’t get tricked into buying a “mostly poodle” disguised as a “goldendoodle”!! A first generation Goldendoodle is the BEST breed- because they have 50% of that incredible Golden Retriever temperament in there. THAT is what you want. The poodle adds wonderful hypoallergenic curl, and trainability… but you want AS MUCH Golden Retriever temperament in there as possible!! When you get F2 and beyond, you are essentially just buying a poodle (yappy-ness, shaking, and nervousness will be a thing)
