Description: Moving sale! We are liquidating our entire beekeeping operation as a single package. This is a turnkey setup perfect for a new beekeeper or an established apiary looking to add gentle, productive stock.
The Hive:
- Type: Established Italian Honeybees (Gentle temperament and high productivity).
- Queen: 2-year-old proven queen, actively laying.
- Health: Recently treated with Formic Pro (organic-certified). Extremely healthy and vibrant.
- Current Setup: Housed in 2 Large (Deep) Brood Boxes.
Included Equipment (Mostly used, fair condition):
- Boxes: 5 additional Large boxes & 6 Medium boxes (no frames).
- Frames: 3 Medium boxes with frames + 15 additional Medium frames (need plastic comb) + 3 Large frames (need plastic comb).
- Management: 6 Queen excluders, 2 In-hive frame feeders, 2 extra Bottom boards, insulated inside top cover.
- Protective Gear: 4 Bee Suits (3 Adult, 1 Child-size), 1 pair Leather gloves.
- Essential Tools: 1 Smoker, 2 Hive tools, 1 Bee brush.
Important Logistic Details:
- Buyer Transport Required: The buyer is responsible for the pickup and transport of the live colony and all equipment.
- Moving Logistics: For the safety of the colony, transport must occur at dusk or early morning when the foragers are inside.
- Advice for Move: We recommend bringing ratchet straps and a truck or trailer. Do not transport the live hive inside an enclosed car.
