Previous owner repaired the saddle bag attachment. Has worked fine for me. I've added T-Rex engine and luggage guards as a precaution.

If you're shopping for these you probably already know what you're looking at. I will say, coming from an old Kawasaki Concours 1000 I'm astonished by the performance of this 1300. Seems to be more on the sport end of the touring spectrum. Nimble for its size and gobs of power--it just doesn't stop pulling. Comfortable and spacious enough to carry you and a passenger across the country and have fun in the canyons while doing it.
