Flea-Bitten Grey mare, standing a stout 14.2 hands. The vet aged her between 5-7. She is a thick-built small horse with a lot of eye appeal. When she is relaxed and in her element, she is very sweet and will even come up for "hugs." The Reality: She is a total project and is NOT for the faint of heart. We have owned her since August 2025 and she recently finished 30 days of professional groundwork. She is very companion sour (herd bound). She will fight/resist when being pulled away from other horses. She can be difficult to catch if she isn't in the mood, though she has improved with recent training. Under Saddle/Pressure: She has shown rearing, bucking, and nipping when she feels pressured or asked to work. Maintenance: Just had her first professional hoof trim (stood well for it). UTD on deworming. She has a wolf tooth that needs pulling. Potential: Because of her build and color, she would be an excellent Broodmare Prospect. She could also be a project for a very experienced trainer who specializes in herd-bound/defensive horses. I am being 100% transparent: she is a "diamond in the rough" but requires a professional hand. I do not have the time or experience she needs.
