ApplePayThis girl is SO sweet and SO smart. It breaks our heart to have to part ways with her.
She was a rescue we had only intended to foster, but she became incredibly pair bonded to our other dog so we and wound up having her for an entire year. However, we are allergic and sadly not able to provide the exercise she needs and deserves.
She LOVES to chase a ball, and knows to “drop” the ball as well. She knows several commands and is house trained. She’s good with other dogs, but her play style is pretty rough. She would do great with a runner or someone who can get her some good mileage every day. If she doesn’t get at least a couple miles worth of exercise each day, she can become very rambunctious. Her happy place is just following you around 24/7. She loves snuggles and being squeezed and will take every moment of attention she can get.
She has always been great with kids. She did display some food guarding once when she was eating from her bowl and a child she did not know approached, but otherwise she has always had great interactions with children.
She is spayed and completely healthy. She seems to be an American Doberman through and through, although her ears are uncut and her tail is not docked.
Multiple interviews and a home visit will be required for rehoming. We care very much about this dog and want her to go to the best possible situation.
She is also quite pair bonded to our other dog, and it would be amazing if they could see each other from time to time, at least in the first year of rehoming.
