VenmoI have a Lulzbot Taz 5 printer and a heavily modified Taz 4 printer that I would like to offload. They were both printers I used for resarch some years ago, but they've mainly gathered dust since 2023.
The Taz 5 has been printed with in teh past year or so a couple of times, so I can confirm the control box and power supply work. The Taz 4 hasn't been printed with in some time, but I suspect the control box is still operational.
The Taz 4 is heavily modified. The modifications were an attempt to upgrade the printer to extrude ULTEM and PEEK filaments. So, it has a number of heat lamp housings (I still have the bulbs if they're wanted), an airline cooling system (motor housings, a manifold, various hoses, etc.), high temperature hot ends, and a high temperature heat bed (I don't recall how hot it goes, but much hotter than a typical bed). Many of the parts were reprinted with Polycarbonate and Ultem to withstand teh high temperatures. It should be able to print with a little bit of tinkering.
There are two brand new spare power supplies, a spare heater bed, a spare heating pad, and a bunch of other spare parts. I also have a partial reel of 3 mm black ABS filament and a full reel of 3 mm polycarbonate filament (never removed from its packaging). There are also two replacement full graphic smart LCD controllers.
I'd like to offload everything all at once, but we can discuss a partilal sale. The exception is the filamant, which will go with the Taz 5 printer. The Taz 5 is also pictured with an enclosure. That may be spoken for already, so let's discuss if you're interested.
