CashAppThis is Leroy, he’s a mid 20’s Red-Lored Amazon Parrot. Leroy is a little fella with a BIG personality. He loves to chill on a shoulder, perch outside in the sun and sing his heart out in the shower. He is shy of new people and will likely take a few weeks to warm up to his new owner.
Like any Amazon, he can be extremely loud. He gets the most loud when wanting attention or if guests are over at the house. If you or someone that lives with you gets overstimulated by loud noises, this is not the bird for you. If you live in an apartment, this is not the bird for you.
Some phrases he likes to say: I’m a good boy Hello “Cat call” whistle
He is a lover and needs someone that can spend time with him each day. He does not fly. When I am home, his cage is open so he can walk to the top if he likes. He is used to dogs and cats.
Leroy doesn’t chew many toys, so his beak grows out. He goes to a vet every 3-4 months for a beak trim. At my vet, this is only $30. He has otherwise Perfect health
