Criteria wise he meets the mix to be called a black hereford. He is out of a Black baldy cow and was an easy calved bull. He is a calm and easy going animal. There aren't any EPD’s for him as he’s a crossbred. He is a polled bull with pigmentation around his eyes. He is an easy moving bull from a good cow family that has good udders and teats. Trich, semen and full reproductive exam was conducted on 3/17/26. He passed the exam without issue with good semen volume, morphology and motility. His scrotal was measured at 33 at just under a year of age.
Dam info - his dam is a moderate framed cow that was about 1250#. She is a calm black baldy cow with a good udder, teats and holds her body condition well while raising her calves. She has good feet and is trouble free to work with. She is a 5 yr old cow that has settled on the first service each year. Her calves have been in the upper 70’s to low 80’s and have all grown and done well
Sire info- Sire is a hereford bull we used for 4 years. He was noted for calving ease and we never had a calf out of him that was over 82# and the smallest was 76#. He was a very docile bull that had good feet and fully pigmented eyes. We have kept a few of his daughters and they have been solid performing cattle with moderate frame size, good udders/teats and they are very docile to handle.

C&C Ranch (https://www.campbellsranch.com/) is an 8th generation Cache Valley ranch that is currently growing the 9th generation to hopefully keep it going. We follow a strict vaccination and parasite program and follow the newest research in breeding and animal husbandry to produce the most quality animals we can. Our mineral/vitamin supplementation is a custom mix that utilizes liver sample evaluation to ensure we’re providing the best mix we can for our animals. We do not actively PAP test our bulls as we are not at the minimum 6000 foot elevation which is needed to get an accurate test completed. We buy genetics from ranches that do PAP test their animals and run them at very high elevations and they do not have issues. Our pastures are not irrigated fields and we expect our animals to perform across a variety of conditions to produce quality offspring. Our family works hard to offer quality animals that we stand behind and anything we sell for breeding is an animal we would use ourselves.
