This vintage milk glass covered compote/footed candy dish stands about 7" tall and measures about 5 3/4" across at the widest part of the open lace rim and dates most likely to the 1960s. It is in great shape with no cracks, chips or visible signs of wear. There are some raised mold marks below the knob on the lid but are part of the fun of vintage glassware. The Indiana Glass Company began as part of the Ohio Flint Glass Company which was later sold to the National Glass Company. They officially became Indiana Glass Company in 1907. In 1957 Lancaster Colony purchased the company. Lancaster Colony closed the factory in 2002.
