Just fill the water tank and plug in. Also has an ice tray where you can put ice cubes for instantly cooler air.
It always worked well. We even used it on our patio on super hot days to blow on us at BBQs.
We just don’t need it anymore as we moved to a small townhome.
****the cork/plug for the water tank is a replacement that we found to work after the original broke. You remove the cork/plug when you want to drain or replace the water in the tank. It worked for us just fine and did not leak.
