Meet Lucy Belle. This is a three year old very nice Jersey cow born May of 2023. She had her first calf, a Jersey Heifer born August 15, 2025 so now the calf is 8 months old. We left the calf on the cow and milked her once per day. She gave about 2.5 to 3 gallons per day when milking once per day. When our other heifer freshened we grafted the new calf on Lucy and stopped milking her as we didn't need all the milk. She has been bred by a Herford bull and is due in September. She still has the two calves nursing on her so she should give plenty of milk till she is dried up in July. Her pregnency was confirmed by a vet. She leads easily into the stall. The last picture is her 8 month old calf. If you want the heifer calf so you don't have to milk as much I will sell her for $1200 with the cow.
