Whirlpool 20 cu. ft. frost-free upright freezer for sale as-is. Purchased new in February 2023 – just over 3 years of use. Unit powers on and the motor runs, but it is not reaching freezing temperatures. No professional diagnosis has been performed – unknown whether the issue is the refrigerant, defrost system, control board, or something else.
Great project for an appliance technician, repair shop, or someone who enjoys fixing things. Parts alone on a unit this size have real value, and a successful repair could yield a fully functional name-brand freezer worth $400 to $550.
