VenmoBlue Jersey Giant Hen under 1 year old. Lays 1 large, cream egg/day. Reason for selling is she is not the best with chickens younger than her. She will chase, corner, and pull feathers. Have a young rooster we added about a month or so ago and he is so scared to go anywhere that he stays perched up in the coop all day every day. Not a temperament we want to breed for nor have in our coop. Despite her attitude to younger chickens, she is great with those her age or older and she is one of our best layers in the flock. The coop we have her in is our mixed flock + grow-outs and we just can’t have a hen that will hurt our young chickens, but if in a flock of mature chickens with no youngin’s she will be a great addition!
