VenmoFor sale is a heavy-duty Adjust-A-Volt variable transformer manufactured by Staco Energy (Standard Electrical Products). This industrial-grade unit is ideal for testing 220V/240V equipment, radio repair, or motor speed control.Specifications:Input: 230V AC, 50/60Hz.Output: Variable 0–270V AC.Power Rating: 2.4 kVA / 9.0 Amps.Weight: Approximately 25–30 lbs.
Condition & Testing:Continuity Verified: Internal windings tested at a healthy 1.3–2.0 ohms.Smooth Operation: The dial rotates smoothly across the full range with consistent wiper contact.
Safety Inspected: No shorts to the chassis were found; the unit has been blown out with compressed air to ensure a clean internal track.
Cosmetic: very clean for its age.
Notes: This is a non-isolated autotransformer. It is heavy, so local pickup is encouraged. Bring a meter or use mine and test for yourself before buying. I did resistance and voltage tests and i believe it to be a solid working unit. Make it $300 and I’ll give you an untested ge variac of similar design to go with it.
