14 ft long. This is in great shape. It mostly needs some of the bungee cord hold downs replaced but it works fine as is. This is the original pedal kayak Hobie made and it’s built like a tank. The thick rotomolded plastic hull is impervious to rocky shores and 20 yrs of use has cause minimal scratches on the bottom considering the age. The newer pedal units are almost all plastic but this one is almost entirely cast and machined aluminum and stainless steel and shows minimal wear. The advantage of a pedal units versus a propeller unit is that, without removing the pedal unit, you can travel through a few inches of water instead of having to stop in 16” of water with a propeller unit, so you can run this right to the shore before stepping out. It has storage compartments to keep this dry, even if you tip it. A regular kayak paddle is also attached to the side should you need it. I also have a plug for the pedal slot so it can be used as a regular kayak.
