2002 Yamaha raptor 660r. the bad, needs a new cylinder head or needs to be repaired as it’s mixing coolant and oil. Also i believe it needs a new 5th gear or something in the transmission like a shift fork. I have the old bottom end from when i bought it. (It was blown up and I didn’t know) so I bought I new bottom end on eBay for 700$ only to find out 5th was not working. I have worked on a few transmissions since then and probably could fix that with the one from the old bottom end, but I have put to much money into this and I need the space back. But other than that it’s a solid quad, it’s got a brand new wiseco piston and cylinder sleeve, new clutch, upgraded oil pump gear as the old ones are made from plastic and failed. As it sits right now it starts but I wouldn’t run it for more than a few minutes, I’ve been looking for a new cylinder head on eBay for while and thy come and go pretty often ranging from 200-600$ and I’ll throw in the old bottom end for a little extra. I can also split the cases and pull the transmission out as well. If I can find a replacement head for a decent price I might decide to rebuild it but I’ve put well over 1200$ into and have moved to other projects an just kinda want the space back.
