VenmoWe are selling a few miniature & midsize jersey cattle. We have a few calves on the ground and are expecting one more. Mini (42 inches & under) & midsize (42.5 inch to 46 inch) are great pets. All our grown jerseys are broke to lead. Minis are not as hard on fencing , pasture, and equipment as standard size cattle. They eat significantly less hay.
If you are low on hay then having a smaller jersey cow is the way to go. You get all that great creamy milk in a small package. We like to drink the milk and make yogurt, cheese, & ice cream. We generally get from 1.5 to 3 gallons of a milk a day from our small cows.
Currently we have a few registered cattle for sale.
Diva – photos 3, 4, 5, and 10 A2/A2 - A/B B/B Milk Genetics. Good for Cheese Making. Naturally Polled (Heterozygous) 43 inches tall at the hook bone. turning 6 yrs this June. She is one of my wife’s favorite cows Last year, even with calf sharing, we got 1 to 1&1/2 gallons a day. When we want milk we take her away from the calves for a while and milk her for ourselves. Then we put her back with the calves. She is currently raising 3 standard Charolais cross calves for us. (We fostered her calf over to another mini) So, if possible we would like to have her stay on the place for another few weeks or so. She has been easy to hand milk and I think she prefers humans to milk her. Although she does take care of her calves well. She has a nice udder and good size teats for hand milking. I just tie Diva to the back of my 4 wheeler and she stands well for milking. Asking $4,300. Diva has given us a calf every year for the past 4 years. She gave us a beautiful tiny heifer calf a couple years ago -- Edelweiss. That cow is now 37 inches at 2 years old and has her own heifer this year. (Edelweiss is the cow raising the three mini calves in photos 1, 2, 8, and 9). We are not selling Edelweiss at this time.
Clover ( Photos 6 &7). A2/A2 - A/A B/B milk genetics. 43 inches tall. Horns removed She leads well and is a nice cow. She was milked a bit last year and had a heifer calf. She is due to calve around May 11th. Asking $3,900 without the calf. If we sell them both together we can work out a price. Just have to wait and see what comes in the next couple weeks. Clover will be in milk. Don’t have an exact measure of her milk production. Was pretty good last year with one calf of her own and raising other calves also. This will be her second lactation.
Johnny Depp -- mini/midsize bull calf. Born 4/6/26 We are sending off for testing on this bull calf soon. He is the son of Diva. Based off genetics, he will most likely carry excellent milking and other traits. Naturally polled His price will likely be in the $3,500 to $5,500 price range, pending genetic results.
We will also likely sell one of our heifer calves from this year. Still waiting for testing and to let them get a bit older to see how they mature out. The prices will likely be a bit higher. Around $4,500 and up. Depending upon height and genetics. Our herd is negative for BVDV, Brucella, BLV, TB, & Johnes. They are healthy cattle. Call if interested or have questions. Happy to answer any question you have.
