for a factory sealed full size gen 1 I think my price. Is a pretty okay deal. A lot of people prefer the 1st gen over 2nd gen because they sound a lot better, have a lot more bass.
1st gen VS. 2nd gen Specs.
Key Specification DifferencesChipset:
The 1st Gen uses the A8 chip (iPhone 6),
while the 2nd Gen uses the faster S7 chip (Apple Watch Series 7) for improved computational audio
Audio Components: The 1st Gen has a 4-inch woofer, 7 tweeters, and 6 microphones. The 2nd Gen has a 4-inch woofer, 5 tweeters, and 4 microphones.
Smart Home & Connectivity:
The 2nd Gen supports Matter and Thread, which are not available on the 1st Gen. It also includes a U1 chip for better proximity handoff.Sensors: The 2nd Gen includes a built-in temperature and humidity sensor (via the Home app).Design & Power Cable:

Selling a double factory sealed HomePod 1st gen Space Grey, the cardboard box that it is shipped in in now opened to remove the HomePod inside and take pictures showing the factory plastic, showing it’s factory sealed.
It’s quite difficult to get a brand new factory sealed 1st gen HomePod. It was difficult when they first discontinued them, now 5 years later, it’s exponentially harder, who’d have thought?
