VenmoThis is a rare Vogue Picture Record, specifically a 10-inch, 78 RPM record from the 1940s featuring The Charlie Shavers Quintet performing the song "She’s Funny That Way” & on the other side “Dizzy’s Dilemma,” manufactured by Sav-Way Industries in Detroit, Michigan. It is used & has scratches & wear from age & use. It didn’t come in a sleeve so I put it in a rice paper inner sleeve & then a blank cardboard sleeve to keep it protected & in this condition until it is sent to you. There are pictures of both. There’s a lot of static & pops but it played pretty well for its age & even with all the scratches. It also has a discoloration on one side. It’s pictured but that doesnt affect the playing either. Because of its rarity & its age it is a really cool collectors item & is pretty valuable.
-Manufacturing: Produced by Sav-Way Industries in Detroit, Michigan, these records feature colorful illustrations sandwiched between a central aluminum core and clear vinyl. -Artist Lineup: The recording features Charlie Shavers Orchestra -Collectibility: Known for their unique artwork, Vogue records were produced for a short time between 1946 and 1947, making them highly sought-after collectibles. -Details: The record is catalog number R754
Let me know if you have any questions. I’m a collector myself so I treat all the albums as if they were my own! Also, I’m not someone who is going to keep lowering and lowering the price, so if you’re interested just make me an offer! I am very open to reasonable offers so message me! Not open to trades though! Thanks!
