Selling an upgraded Ender 5 Plus large-format 3D printer. This is a project/tinker machine best suited for someone comfortable with firmware and electronics work.

I rescued this printer before it was discarded and installed several popular upgrades, including a BIGTREETECH SKR Mini E3 mainboard and BIGTREETECH TFT touchscreen. The printer powers on and the motion system functions, but it is not currently operational and still needs a little firmware/configuration work. The current issue is related to BLTouch probing/bed detection.

I originally planned to finish restoring this printer over the summer, but ended up taking on an internship and no longer have the time/bandwidth to complete the project. Since I’m not using it much anymore, I’d rather see it go to someone who will finish or enjoy working on it. Willing to negotiate price-wise. Local pickup only.
