VenmoI have a pair of beautiful and rare vintage ElectroVoice Wolverine 2-Way Speakers. These have been fully restored and are in excellent working and cosmetic condition.
These speakers feature a 10” ElectroVoice woofer with integral Whizzer Cone for extended range. Each speaker also has a Wolverine 2” Horn tweeter with electronic crossover and adjustable level control.
Cabinets are overbuilt and sturdy and appear to have been assembled from a kit (as was a popular option back in the early 1960s). They are finished in a nice oak veneer. Each speaker measures 30” L x 20” W x 20” T and weighs about 50 pounds.
These have great sound, with more than ample bass, a clear midrange, and a high end that you can adjust to your own taste via the controls on the rear of the speakers. Speakers come with the original ElectroVoice cables.
All components are the restored original parts; the only exception being the cabinet insulation which was replaced with new (the original had badly deteriorated from age).
