Young Red Star hens are already laying like crazy! These girls hatched in June 2025 and they have turned into absolute egg machines. They started laying this winter and are producing beautiful brown eggs daily. Honestly, we simply have more eggs than our family can keep up with.
Red Stars are one of the best backyard chicken breeds because they are excellent egg layers, friendly and easy to handle, hardy in cold weather, and very efficient feed-to-egg producers. They are great for families, homesteads, or anyone wanting dependable fresh eggs.
These are healthy, young hens with lots of productive years ahead of them. I have 10 available for $15 each or take all 10 for $140. Located in the Malad area. Message me before my fridge completely fills with eggs again.
