VenmoWe are looking for a new home for our about 45 lbs. neutered male goldendoodle. He is a great dog, we just realized that he isn’t the right fit for our family in this season of life. He doesn’t shed as he’s 75% poodle, he’s 100% housebroken, has never chewed up any furniture or been allowed on furniture, is crate trained and stays quietly in his crate for several hours and overnight, loves to go hiking and stays close to you when hiking, comes when called, and is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. He knows basic commands and a few tricks. He’s used to walking on a leash and going on walks and overall walks really well. He will try to bark at people or other dogs, but is learning to not bark. He can walk well on just as flat collar, but also wears a gentle leader when needed. He is used to normally sleeping in his crate at night, but can also sleep out of his crate at night and does great! He doesn’t love being clipped, and needs two people to clip him. We have clipped his fur ourselves and one gives treats and the other clips. He can be brushed and nails clipped with just one person. He will come with all of his stuff, including a crate, food, toys, leashes, heartworm medicine, food, grooming supplies, etc. He’s used to being in the house 90% of the time and will follow you around wherever you’re at. He loves to be petted and play fetch. He is nice and calm in the house especially if he’s had a couple times of running or playing in the yard. We are looking for a home that will keep him mostly inside and that also has a fenced yard for him or plenty of time to give him exercise. Please feel free to reach out with any questions, and I will also be asking a lot of questions to see if you’re home is the right fit.
