I think this is a 1953 model.
This guitar looks great and has obviously been cared for its whole life.
A few minor, very small, little chips on the binding edges.
The back has some impressions that do not show in the image.
No notable scratches anywhere.
It plays well and sounds great.
There is some static in the pots but it's not too bad.
I believe this guitar is all original.
At the very least it shows no real evidence of any work being done.
Pickups and electrics are original.
The frets seem a little low to me but I don't know how tall they were when it was new.
The case shows some wear but it's solid.
The case handle was replaced. The original handle is in the case.
