We partnered with Mrs. Jenny Adams’ 6th grade science classes at Adele C. Young Intermediate this spring and the students successfully hatched out 63 chicks from our flock! The kids had a blast watching the incubation and hatch process from start to finish.
Now these little chicks are ready for new homes. They are 2 weeks old and are a barnyard mix from our flock including:
Rhode Island Reds, White Leghorns, Plymouth Barred Rocks, ISA Browns, Easter Eggers, and French Copper Marans.
These should make a fun variety of backyard chickens with different colors and egg genetics mixed in.
