PayPalClassic 1950s Heathkit Model TC-2 Tube Tester in its original portable wooden case with handle. Perfect for testing vacuum tubes in old radios, TVs, amplifiers, ham gear, and other vintage electronics! Condition & Testing: Powers on reliably — the roll chart lights up nicely. Tested a vacuum tube I had on hand (marked weak) and it correctly read weak. Meter, knobs, switches, sockets, and indicator all appear functional. Clean interior and exterior with normal vintage wear (some scuffs/scratches on the case and wear on the Tolex/vinyl, as expected for its age). See photos. This is a simple but effective emission-type tube checker that tests for shorts, opens, and cathode emission strength (good/weak/bad). Great for hobbyists, restorers, and collectors. Produced roughly 1953–1959. Specs/Features (from original design): Multiple tube sockets (4-pin, 5-pin, 6-pin, 7-pin, octal, etc.). Filament voltage selector, plate voltage, type selector, etc. Neon short indicator. Easy-to-use roll chart. Great for: Ham radio enthusiasts; Vintage audio/radio repair; Electronics hobbyists. $180 or best offer. Cash preferred, but will take Venmo and PayPal.
