This item is a Vintage, Size 7, Shriners Fez hat that belonged to a member of the El Kalah Shriners Chapter established in 1892 in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Fez was made by D. Turin & Co., Hialeah, Florida.

El Kalah Shriners are headquartered out of the historic and beautiful Salt Lake Masonic Temple on South Temple Street. Like all Shriner chapters, they are a fraternal organization rooted in Masonic principles. They are heavily focused on philanthropy, specifically supporting Shriners Children's Salt Lake City by providing fund development and transportation assistance for children requiring specialized medical care.
