VenmoGreat for a budget gravel bike build, this Schwinn CrissCross is project ready and project priced!
Headbadge number 1113 means it was built on the 111th day of 1993.
Frame specs: Top tube: 21” CTC, effective top tube will be around 22” Seat tube: 18” CTT Chainstay length: 17-3/8” or about 440mm 135mm rear, 100mm front spacing, QR dropouts. Lots of mounting points for racks, fenders, whatever. Or break out the torch and add some. That’s the beauty of steel!
Originally sold as a hybrid in the early 90’s, this double butted cromoly steel frame would build in to a great budget gravel, touring, or commuter/city bike.
Frame is dirty and a bit scuffed up but underneath is a solid, straight, dent-free platform to build whatever rad bike you want!
I have a wheelset I’ll throw in for another $20 if you’re interested…
Too small for me, too many other bikes hanging around….
Text is best, cash is preferred but can do Venmo through my wife’s account.
Thanks for looking!
