VenmoWe built this wall in our driveway during the early part of Covid. Has been an amazing climbing nest / extra outdoor living room. We are moving this summer and sadly, cannot take it with us.Would be stoked for someone else to get to put it to use!
We have years of experience in carpentry: the structure is super stoutly built and made so that it can be disassembled and reconstructed by someone who knows what they’re doing (+ hopefully at least one pal).
Footprint is 118” W x 87” D. Metal roof is 144” W x 96” D and overhangs on all sides but does not extend beyond footprint in the rear. Front edge of roofing is 12’ high at tallest point. Side walls are vertical, rear wall is 15° for about 113” in height, with another 45” of overhanging roof.
Exterior walls are marine grade mahogany, finished with UV protective stain. Interior plywood walls are marine grade fir, finished with Osmo decking oil and have a 6” x 6” grid pattern of 3/8-16 4-prong t-nuts. Composite decking keeps the floor pad off the ground.
Grey floor pad is 10” thick foam wrapped in weather resistant fabric (about 108” x 76”), custom made by Vertical Solutions, a local manufacturer who makes pads for commercial climbing gyms. Additional VooDoo Climbing foam pad is 75” x 55” x 12”. All holds & bolts pictured are included (+ some), mostly factory seconds from Vertical Solutions, some Metolius, a couple old-school Pusher ones as well. Heavy duty marine grade tarps on front and back were also custom made locally. Also includes a super-bright led strip and weather-proof wiring for night climbing (power it with an extension cord).
Asking $3500 for the lot: walls, roof, floor, hardware, tarps, pads x 2, 400+ holds & bolts (easily 2k+ value in these alone), led light + wiring.
