VenmoMeet Lumi! She has quite the backstory. She is estimated to be about 6 years old. She spent her first few years of life with 3 little boys who literally treated her like a toy. She was given to us in a small dollar store bin that had been her home. She is missing all her toe tips from improper humidity. (though that doesn't stop her from being an excellent climber) She has a re-grown tail because she dropped it early in her life. It healed really well though, and you really can't tell unless you're looking closely. According to the family she came from, she escaped and spent 6 months roaming their house before they caught her.
We have spent the last 3 years rehabbing her, and we built her this mansion of an enclosure because she deserves the absolute best. She is totally healthy now, and very active and curious.
Despite all her trauma, she always comes out to see what's going on when there are people in the reptile room. She is so curious and will often crawl onto your hand and give little kisses. She is very food motivated and LOVES eating.
We haven't handled her much, simply out of respect and giving her space to heal. But if you put your hand in her enclosure, she will crawl on and lay down, setting her little head down to fall asleep. She has the sweetest little face and personality.
The enclosure is solid wood and handmade by my husband. It comes with thermostats for both heating and cooling and is set up to turn on fans and turn off the heat bulb when it gets too hot. Comes with UVB as well. The enclosure has removable doors for ease of access and cleaning. The dimensions are 55 inches long, 22 inches tall, and 23 inches deep.
