Vintage sterling silver "butterfly wing jewelry" pins for sale. $60.00. Two tropical-themed pins in the art-deco "Butterfly Wing" style. Both are sterling silver and in excellent condition, but need cleaning.
The blue colored pin is an authentic Thomas L. Mott piece and is clearly marked "TLM Sterling England". TLM (Thomas L Mott) established the style, starting in the 1920's. The blue piece is vivid and exquisite. The butterfly wing structure is clearly visible behind the image (especially with magnification).
The yellow pin is less vivid and the wing-structure is not as crisp. Only a "sterling" mark is visible on the back, but more might be visible after a cleaning. There were other manufacturers at the same time period, so it may not be a Thomas Mott piece.
Both came from the same person in our family. We are not certain of the manufacturing date, only that they are no more recent than the 1960's
Call 801-601-8595 before 7 pm. PHONE CALLS ARE PREFERRED. Text messages won't work, and I have questions about the e-mail link. I received an e-mail through KSL from one person earlier but the return e-mail did not work so was unable to contact them.
