ApplePayI'm sad to say we are getting rid of our boxer. We recently found out we are moving to a big city back east this summer for work and we are not allowed to take him with us. Few houses accept dogs, and there are no backyards, where he would feel happy and free in. He is a great dog. He has been around kids and other dogs his entire life. He is around 10 years old and we are very sad we can't see him until the end of his life because we have had him since the start of it. Since he is an older boxer, he doesn't have as much energy as a puppy would. He loves walks, and being outside. He loves to mostly follow me around and lay wherever I am. He does not have a mean bone in his body. My kids have been all over him since they were little and there has never been any issues. Same with other dogs, never an issue. He does love to play with other dogs though, but typically calms down within 15 minutes. He's completely potty trained and can stay for about 7 hours without a bathroom break. since we have had him for so long we will be quite picky on who he goes to. I need you to be a dog person that loves to be with dogs and can assist him through the remainder of his life and make it the best possible. I'd also prefer a yard for him to lay around in.
