ZelleMeet Duzou – the sweetest, most cuddly Bengal kitten you’ll ever meet! He is 9 months old, and born on August 27th 2025.
Duzou is a stunning brown Bengal with an incredible glitter coat, meaning his fur literally sparkles in the sunlight. Not only is he beautiful, but he also has the most affectionate personality. He is a true lap kitten who loves to be held and cuddle for hours. Duzou is also harness trained and enjoys outdoor adventures. He loves going on hikes and exploring the world safely in his kitty backpack. Whether it’s relaxing on the couch or joining you on an adventure, Duzou is happy to be right by your side. Although Duzou is still intact he does not spray, nor does his father or mother, so it is very unlikely he will ever develop that behavior which is a major bonus!
Health and temperament are our highest priorities. Both of Duzou’s parents are regularly screened for HCM and have healthy, HCM-free hearts. All of our breeding cats are tested and confirmed negative for FIV and FeLV before joining our cattery. Additionally, they have been screened through Optimal Selection for over 50 genetic health markers, and are clear of all conditions including PRA-b and PK-Deficiency. We only breed cats that pass all health testing to ensure strong, healthy kittens with wonderful temperaments.
Why we wait until our kittens are older to find them homes:
It's very important to us that our cats are as well rounded and socialized as possible. We like them to stay with their mothers and siblings and learn their good behaviors for as long as possible. Bengals can be prone to behavioral issues when they are removed from their mothers when they are less than 16 weeks, so we keep our babies a bit longer to ensure a well adjusted companion from their first day home to ensure a better fit and transition. We take our cats to parks, cat shows, malls and other pet friendly public places to socialize and expose them to as much as possible before going to their new homes so that they will easily adjustable and adapt you your home.
This also reduces the chances of: • spraying or urinating outside of the litterbox • inappropriate biting and misdirected aggression
And results in: • better immune systems • better stress management and more easily adaptable to their new homes.
Duzou will go to his new home: • Up-to-date on vaccinations • Neutered • Microchipped • With a kitten starter kit that includes: litter, blanket, food, supplements, a handmade toy, medical records, registration paperwork, and a booklet on proper nutrition and acclimation to your family.
