VenmoVintage Utah high school history and a beautiful piece of mid-century vinyl craftsmanship! Up for grabs is an original 1958 "Souvenir Record" from Olympus High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.
This unique 7-inch microgroove 33⅓ RPM record was custom-manufactured back in 1958 by the famous Century Record Co. in California, specifically sponsored by the Olympus Vocal Music Department under the direction of Kenly W. Whitelock (with Principal Dr. W. Melvin Strong noted on the label).
Key Features:
- Color Wax: Striking, vibrant translucent red vinyl. Looks incredible when held up to the light!
- Local Pedigree: A rare piece of 1950s Holladay / Salt Lake City educational and musical history.
- Condition: The vinyl retains a fantastic, high-gloss luster with only very minor, typical surface paper signs of age. The grey and black labels are clean and crisp. Side 1 has a small vintage yellow number sticker ("4") affixed near the bottom.
