VenmoRegina dual comb music box. All original mahogany case and cabinet. Includes 20 15.5" metal discs. Gilt metal bedplate reads: Regina Serial #34407. Two combs each complete with 76 teeth. Fine star assembly and roller bar. Includes crank that winds into the bedplate. Solid mahogany boards with pressed design molded on bottom edge. Underside of bonnet lid contains original mural of girl and cherubs. Extra fancy lid with beads. Original lower base cabinet with piping balls to match the music box. Box and cabinet was sold and marketed by Regina to accompdate the discs.
Many collectors agree that the Regina music box has the best sound of all boxes. Also, the cabinets in which the mechanisms are housed are beautifully crafted and styled. This is one of the nicest matching box and cabinets that I have seen in the last 20 years of collecting.
