VenmoMeet Honey (short for Honey Bunches of Oats), a sweet, family-raised heifer with a great disposition and solid dairy potential. She was born and raised right here on our place out of one of our best cows—a proven, dependable milk producer with an A2/A2 profile.
Honey was originally bred to be a full Jersey through artificial insemination, but we believe there may have been a mix-up during the process. Based on her build and characteristics, she appears to be a Jersey cross. That said, she carries many of the qualities people love about Jerseys, including a gentle nature and strong dairy background.
She has been handled regularly by our kids and is very comfortable around people. Honey is playful, easy to work with, and used to being around other animals, making her a great fit for a family homestead, small farm, or anyone looking to add a calm, manageable cow to their setup.
Jerseys are well known for producing rich, high-butterfat milk that’s ideal for cream, butter, and cheese. With her maternal genetics, Honey has strong potential as a family milk cow or dual-purpose animal.
We are also willing to assist with artificial insemination after purchase if the new owner would like help breeding her with selected genetics.
