The book contains a complete file of 71 issues, spanning from February 8, 1918, to June 13, 1919. It features a striking embossed cover with an American eagle and shield design, characteristic of the bound editions produced shortly after the war. These newspapers provided soldiers with news from the front, updates from home, illustrations, and humor, and are now considered important primary historical sources.
Inscription inside dated 1949. The cover is not attached to the rest of the book. The first few pages are torn as well as the spine and a few other pages. Price reflects condition. Still a very cool piece of WW l history.
