This is Sonny, a true friend.

Sonny has done it all! From trail riding to 4-H, and all in between, he is a go to horse.

What Sonny has done through out the years:

-Trail Riding: (this horse has gone up and down steep, rocky terrain, through trees and water with no problem. For hunting as well!) He took the kids, the teens, the adults, you can put any one on him without worry!

• 4-H: Sonny competed in all the 4h classes, including: Showmanship, Horsemanship, Westren Rail, Trail, Barrels, Poles, Gymkanah, and did great!
• Horse Lessons: Sonny is the guy you want for teaching new people how to ride, and beginners to grow. Calm and gentle, but stubborn enough to teach riders how to communicate.
• Small Town Rodeos: Yup, he's done that too! He's done the parades with calm and fun. Want to do man on the barrel? You have yourself a horse. Barrels and poles? He's got you there too.
• Pulling Sleds/Tubes: Wanna take the kids for a ride in the winter? Get a rope and a tube and pull em behind ya.

This guy has done so much more! Let's talk about his temperment and body now.

This guy is bomb proof! Throw on the tarps, Crack the whip, let the kids yell, scream, climb all over. He had never been ridden in english before, but when we threw the saddle on, he did great and let the kids jump him. He is so mellow amd calm.

Is he stubborn? A little. But once you show him who's boss, he'll do anything. That's why he is perfect for beginners. No buck or bite, just wants to stand there.

He is more whoa than go, but if you get him to go, he'll go. He still isn't extremely fast, but he's a fun speed.

He is a bit food aggressive at feeding time with other horses.

• He has Uveitis, which means he has a little bit of cloudyness in one of his eyes, but it doesn't bother him at all and can be treated. \
• Swelling in the back leg from an old injury. \
• Recently he started having some soreness in his right front leg. We aren't sure what from.

We really don't want to sell this gentle guy, he had been such a fun horse for us and taken great care of all our riders. Finances are really tight right now, and as much as it breaks our heart, we can't afford the care he needs.

We would really love to see him go to a good home that can take care of him and give him the love he needs!

He will need vet care before competing in anything.
