Here's the story: My husband turned 60, bought a motorcycle, and fully committed to the bit — helmet, gear, gloves, the works. For BOTH of us. Very romantic. Very optimistic.
I rode twice. Twice.
He logged a few more adventures than I did, and then quietly came to the realization that what felt exhilarating at 22 feels a little different at 60. The motorcycle has been sold. The gear has nowhere to go.
