CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X, 12 core 24 thread Mobo: MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus GPU: MSI RTX 3070 Ti Gaming X Trio 8G RAM: 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3600mHz Storage: 512 GB WD Black SN810 PCIe 4.0X4 m.2 NVMe SSD + 1TB Toshiba HDD PSU: 1000W 80 plus Bronze Cooler: Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360L 360mm AIO with ARGB
Performance - 12 cores! The last time I played with such many cores was on old Xeon server CPUs, but how can you compare old architecture with less than 3.5 GHz boost freq with this might Zen3, closer to 5.0GHz? With so many cores, you can do video editing, build multiple virtual machines/dockers, and manage whatever multi thread workflow. The mighty Zen3 architecture, is still a strong choice for gaming due to AMD’s intentional optimization. To fully unleash the power of this cpu, I intentionally chose a X570 board dully supporting all the features of it. Therefore the RTX 3070ti (and also the chilling fast SSD) has its performance undiscounted. To me, a 3070ti is just like a 3080 with 2GB VRAM less, therefore their FHD performances are pretty much close. For 2K, in lots of games it still can fulfill your gaming monitor’s refresh rate. A 1TB HDD is included for storage of data and/or server use. There are still plenty of room and ports for you to extend your storage.
