VenmoAs a family with allergies we needed a non-shedding dog. We looked at Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Aussiedoodles, Coton de Tulears, and Portuguese Water Dogs. We wanted a dog that was playful but not too high energy, easily trained but not prone to hyper-fixation, an adorable face with big eyes, squared snout, and round head, and a dog that wasn’t too big or too small. We didn’t know Cavapoos checked all those boxes! We hadn’t heard of Cavapoos before and by great luck we found our dog Clover.
Cavapoos are known for being exceptionally loyal and love their people but are also friendly and want to love anyone you love. They love to be close and are small enough to be a lap dog, as well as robust enough to adventure with you. They love to curl up with their people and weigh enough to provide grounding for those with or prone to anxiety or depression. They are smart and easily trained, but not to the point that they destroy things from boredom. We have trained our Clover to go potty in a specific place in the yard, making clean up extremely easy. She uses bells and talking buttons to communicate her needs, and has loads of tricks under her belt. Cavapoos across the board are eager to please and fast learners making training them easy and rewarding.
One of the benefits of a Cavapoo is that they are non-shedding, but not all Cavapoos have the genetic makeup to be hypoallergenic. To make sure they are non-shedding and hypoallergenic they need to have the “furnishing” gene. At least one parent must be double furnished and the other must have at least one furnishing gene to ensure the whole litter is furnished. This is what makes the puppies non-shedding and what is considered hypoallergenic.
We specifically chose the mom and dad for these pups to provide the rare coloring as well as the furnishing genes, while also being clear of concerning health markers. These puppies will statistically be genetically 55.5% poodle, 37% King Charles Cavalier and 7.5% mini Austrailian Shepherd. The additional mini Aussie genes do not affect any of the incredible attributes that are sought for in Cavapoos: non-shedding, muzzle length, big eyes, round faces, floppy ears, soft fur, moderate size, and incredible temperament, and add to their natural devotion, playfulness, and trainability. With these puppies you get the adorable Cavalier look with all the benefits of the non-shedding Poodle.
Mom is 20 lbs and dad is 24 lbs so these puppies will be small midsize. They will be non-shedding and hypoallergenic. They will keep their black fur (some black pups fade to gray or “blue” coloring as they reach adulthood but these puppies will not fade) and will keep their distinct eyebrows, muzzle, chest, and leg coloration. They will have the cutest big eyes, floppy puppy ears their whole life, and soft fur that is a pleasure to touch. They are being raised with ENS curriculum that develops a healthier heart, and immune and nervous system making them more adaptable and confident as they grow. They are raised in our home from day one and have lots of exposure to sounds, smells, children, and the unexpected. We help them build confidence through all of it so when they go to your home they are resilient and well-rounded, ready for kids, family routines, and extra love. They will come to you up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, with dewclaws removed, a blanket or toy with their littermates’ and mom’s scent to help them settle into their new einvironment, and puppy food to allow for a transition to the food of your choice.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have found our lucky Clover and want to share this fortune with you.
There is a non-refundable deposit of $200 to reserve a puppy and a final payment of $2200 one week before the time of pick up. They will be ready to go home June 15, 2026. You will be able to select your puppy in order of reservation. 1st pick: available 2nd pick: available 3rd pick: available
