I made this bioactive paludarium a few years ago and never ended up putting anything in it besides clean up crew. I haven’t seen any springtails in it for a while and there’s a little bit of mold so it would need some new springtails. The waterfall pump was replaced not long ago and it’s easy to access the back. I made it with expanding foam, lava rock, drift wood, and the water portion just has aqua soil so you could definitely put in aquatic plants.
