Healthy captive-bred Green & Black Auratus tadpoles available from well-established adults. Dendrobates auratus are one of the best dart frog species for beginners and experienced keepers alike, known for their bright metallic green patterns, hardy nature, and bold personalities.
These tadpoles are easy to raise with basic care:
Keep individually or in small aquatic containers with clean dechlorinated/spring water (they will be sold in 8oz deli cups)
Ideal temps: 70–76°F
Feed quality fish flakes, tadpole pellets, spirulina foods, etc.
Perform small regular water changes
As they metamorphose, they’ll need access to moist land and eventually a humid planted terrarium with leaf litter, cork bark, and live plants. Adults thrive in bioactive tropical enclosures and feed primarily on flightless fruit flies and other tiny insects.
