We are selling our lot at Sourdough Wilderness Ranch, Enviro Hill #61
This is located in Northern Utah near Causey Resevoir.
Lots already all roughly 0.5 acre.
Sourdough is an awesome location and a great way to get on the mountain into something that is "yours". We got tired of dealing with disbursed camping and the concern that you'd head out for the weekend and not find a good site. Here, its always yours, and its always open for you.
At sourdough, you don't own the land, but you buy a share of an organization that does. With this, you have a permanent lease on your specified piece of land where you can make it your own. You can build a shed, a screen room, and an RV show shelter, but you cannot build a cabin. There is no water or sewer hookups on the sites, so it is effectively dry camping. There is spring water available for rv filling, as well as RV sewer dump sites.
When we first went to look at a site, the main gate entrance and area isn't breathtaking by any means, and on the way up my wife had fully decided that it was not something she would be interested in. When we got up to the lake and by our site, the greenery, temperature and feel were amazing and by the time we drove down she said, "we should buy two!".
Please review the sourdough website thoroughly so you know the ins and outs of what you are getting into. Our lot is a really unique and fun lot.
There is no neighbor behind you or on the one side, which give ample opportunity for exploration. It is close to the water supply, the ATV track, and relatively close to the main lake. It is an ideal lot for a smaller trailer or tent camping. You will not be able to easily get a large trailer (30+ Feet) on the site. We love being up at Sourdough, especially since it is usually 15 degrees cooler than down in the valley and our kids love playing in the water on kayaks and fishing.
If you want to see the site, we will have to arrange for a time to go and show you or you can look at it when you're up there with someone else. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
Here is a google maps link to the exact location.
