2007 Toyota tundra Trd, 4 x 4 5.7 V8. Driving back from Colorado I got check engine light that it was overheating. The truck had gotten really hot. Had it towed to the local shop. They said that the heads have gotten way hot! I could do a head gasket replacement and have the head looked at and worked over. It might fix the issue with no grantee and with the truck being as old as it is almost 300,000 miles on it. I decided to just park it and decide later. Six months later, I still haven’t done anything with it. At this point I just want to let it go to somebody else if they’re interested in it for parts. Or if they can do the work themselves. I know these trucks are super desirable as well as super expensive to work on. I am firm on my price so do not ask me to go lower or I will just fix it up myself. I have title in hand and please remember this is an almost 20 year old truck. It has lots of dings and dents. It ran great with no issues before the overheating. It has sat for the last 6 months. It also has been hit on the passenger rear door. See pictures. Door still close was going to just replace the door at some point. Weather tight and had no problems.
