The body has been refinished and sealed with lacquer while the legs remain in original vintage condition with minor wear. The top opens just like a piano and the lower section slides outward so the desk can sit closer to you while working. Inside are charming cubbies and there is a smooth gliding drawer along the bottom, along with two side drawers that open and close with ease. This piece is incredibly sturdy and would make a gorgeous writing desk or statement piece in any home!
