UPDATE - He's baaack!! I housesit/pet sit for a few friends. My ONE JOB was to give George his pills twice a day and keep him safe, EPIC FAIL!

However, the handyman sympathized with my situation and schooled me on cat behavior. Apparently cats are oportunistic. If they sense you are clueless at 2:00 AM when you take your 7lbs. of terror Yorkie outside to do his business, they will take that opportunity to torture you and make sure you understand that THEY are really the ones in charge.

I guess creating much anxiety in George by shoving pills down is throat twice a day deserves a little bit of payback. He slipped out of the house (opportunity knocked) after I left the screen door open (the clueless part). After searching the neighborhood, posting on 4 different lost pets sights, going down to the Animal Shelter to see if he was there and generally feeling like I let my friend down, he had mercy on me and showed up around 10:00 PM last night soaking wet. I also learned that cats aren't keen on rain and he decided giving me a reprive from anxious thoughts and come back home.

I will never take cats for granted again! They are smarter than I am!

Lost Cat - George. He went missing early this AM around 2:15 AM. Please check your ring cameras if you live in the area of Olympus Hills near Jupiter Dr. and Brockbank Dr. He is gray with white patches on his nose, chest and all 4 paws. He is very skittish and may be hiding in/under/around a deck, shed or someplace where he feels safe. Please DM me if you see him or if he happens to befriend you and lets you capture him. He needs medication 2x's a day.
