PRICE IS OBO Savvy is a 4-year-old bay roan mare standing at 15 hands. She is a super sweet, people-oriented mare with a solid foundation and a great attitude.

I purchased her while I was in massage school in Arizona, where she had already been professionally started and used as a kid-friendly and versatile trail horse. At that time, she was confidently ridden by children, used on trails, carried flags, and had experience roping off of—she had a really nice start and was well on her way.

Due to my current schedule, I haven’t been able to keep her consistent in her training, so she has understandably regressed some. That said, she is still broke to ride and has all the right basics in place. She has excellent ground manners, is easy to catch, stands tied, loads and unloads well, lunges, and picks up all four feet. When she was being worked consistently, she was also good for the farrier.

Savvy is very friendly, enjoys attention, and is not “mare-ish” in any way. She gets along well in a herd but is not buddy sour or overly dependent on other horses.

I do have videos from when she was in consistent training prior to my schedule changing and am happy to share them. She is only being offered for sale because she deserves consistency and a job, and I don’t have the time right now to give her the program she needs to stay at her best.
