VenmoCello 4/4: 13590 (No identification)
This is a full-sized cello that I bought a few years back. Since then it has only had light use. The appraisal on the instrument alone came back in the $2,000-$2,500 range. I'm also including the case (slight cosmetic damage as seen above), bow, rosin, cleaning rag, and some learner material. Probably a $3,000 value.
It was also just taken to the luthier to get a general setup, so it's ready to go to its forever home!
Bellow are the appraisal notes (which are also imaged above).
This cello is a copy of a Stradivarius style. It is a carved-all wood student
level instrument. It has Asian wood with an ebony fingerboard. The color of the
cello is a red/golden brown varnish. The cello is in excellent condition with ebony
pegs, wittner-style tailpiece with metallic gold fine tuners, Kaplan strings, with
fully adjusted soundpost, and bridge. The approximate value of the instrument
alone is ~$2,000-2,500.
Measurements: Body Length 765 mm
Upper Bout 356 mm
Center Bout 248 mm
Lower Bout 443mm
Ribs 120 mm
Total length 1,240 mm
Bow 4/4 Glasser Fiberglass bow. Beginning level bow
Case: Green Fiberglass hard-shell case with wheels.
