Vision R40 recumbent bike for sale in good condition for $399 (cost $1300 new). This bike’s full-size bucket seat offers an ultra-comfortable reclining ride, and also reduces wind drag to help decrease pedaling effort. This is a highly maneuverable short wheelbase model with 24 speeds, and has been professionally serviced, so it’s ready now for short exercise rides, around-town commuting, or long touring rides.

Have ridden upright bikes for years, but was getting fed up with the pain caused by their small seats and uncomfortable bent-over riding position. Heard that this sport / touring bike has a super comfortable adjustable bucket seat, so I bought one, sold my upright bike, and have never looked back. Am selling it now because I’m getting a bit too old to ride anymore.

This style of recumbent offers a good transition from upright bikes to recumbents.
